Reston VA Roofing is a local website run by Roofing Roughnecks, the roofing division of Kenney Construction. We built it to give Reston homeowners roofing information that fits how Reston actually works, and we want to be clear about who's behind it.

Who we are

Kenney Construction, Inc. is a locally owned general contractor based in Herndon, Virginia, founded in 2019 by Frank Kenney. Frank has worked in construction since he was 14 and is also a real-estate agent, investor and home flipper, so he looks at a roof the way both a builder and an owner would. The company is licensed, insured and bonded in Virginia, DPOR license #2705187519.

Roofing Roughnecks is Kenney Construction's roofing division, handling roof replacement, roof repair, storm and insurance-related roofing, and window replacement. It holds CertainTeed Master Craftsman credentials earned in September 2026. Kenney Construction runs other specialty divisions too, all backed by the same company and licensing.

We built a Reston site because the division has done real work here and because Reston's approval layers, from Reston Association design review and cluster standards to Town Center and Lake Anne, deserve more space than a general roofing site can give them.
